Annual faculty meeting...the food smells so good from the admin. offices

There is never a lack of food here at the Art Center. And, well, after all food is an art form. Actually, it's a high art form especially when The Jazz Kitchen is doing the catering. Usually it doesn't take much for us to celebrate with food, but tonight is truly a special occasion.

Tonight is the Annual Faculty Meeting where Faculty of the Year is announced - watercolor instructor Shirley Carr got the honor. The recipient receives a solo show this time in 2009. It's a big deal alone to say the least. But, also this meeting is a a meet-and-greet where everyone gets to learn about the latest at the Art Center and get caught up with each other. Considering there are over 300 faculty who offer over 900 classes each year, this is a great get-together.
